Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Postbolt (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Postbolt on behalf of a company or team, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and “you” refers to that organization.

2. The Service

Postbolt helps teams generate, review, and publish social media content. Features, pricing, and availability may change from time to time. We will give reasonable notice before making material changes that negatively affect paid customers.

3. Account responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • Keep your login credentials and API tokens confidential.
  • Notify us promptly at security@postbolt.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Ensure everyone you invite to your workspace complies with these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Postbolt to:

  • Violate any law or the terms of any connected social platform.
  • Generate or publish content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes intellectual-property rights.
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person or organization.
  • Send spam, malware, or unsolicited automated messages.
  • Reverse-engineer or probe the Service for vulnerabilities outside an authorized research program.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on the severity.

5. Intellectual property

Your content

You retain all rights to the briefs, captions, images, videos, and other content you create with Postbolt. You grant Postbolt a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf (including publishing to the platforms you connect).

Our product

Postbolt, its software, trademarks, and content we publish (outside your workspace) are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you a license to our product beyond the right to use the Service.

6. AI-generated content

Postbolt uses third-party large-language and image models to draft captions, images, and videos. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before you publish or share it. Postbolt makes no warranty that AI output is accurate, non-infringing, or suitable for any particular platform policy.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep Postbolt available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, upstream outages, or force-majeure events may interrupt access. For paid plans, published SLAs (if any) govern availability commitments.

8. Fees

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel, your plan remains active through the end of the paid period.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postbolt’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) $100 USD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate the Service, with notice when feasible, for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or risk to the platform or other users.

11. Changes to terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify active customers by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Postbolt after that date means you accept the new terms.
